About Me
Welcome to My Profile
My name is Nox, but my real name is Noa. This is my profile page. I’ve always found it challenging to describe myself, but here we go!
Who Am I?
As I mentioned, my real name is Noa, and I’m a software developer based in Sweden. At the moment, I’m writing this with the hope of updating it later. I currently split my time 50/50 between studying at a Swedish university and working as a System Developer.
What are my Intrests?
My hobbies mostly revolve around technology and gaming. I’m a huge fan of esports, particularly Counter-Strike 2 and League of Legends. What I love most about these games is their strong team-based dynamics. Playing them has helped me develop leadership skills and improve my hand-eye coordination.
But let’s move on from gaming and talk about my journey as a developer.
My Journey into Programming
When I was around 10 years old—roughly 12 years ago—my parents got us a home computer. Like many other developers, I was immediately hooked. While I didn’t start with DOS or other early systems, I did explore and experiment with Windows Vista (I think). Regardless, I quickly fell in love with the incredible things you could do with a computer, which led me to learn about coding and software development.
My parents noticed my growing interest and enrolled me in two amazing coding programs for kids:
1. Code Dodge – This was an introductory coding program where we learned the basics of programming. We created small games in early versions of GameMaker and worked on beginner projects in Python.
2. ComeTech – Unlike Code Dodge, this program focused more on hardware. We built small electronic projects, like remote-controlled cars with DC motors and electronic braking systems. We also got an introduction to hardware programming concepts.
These experiences fueled my passion for technology and set me on the path to becoming a software developer.
